The seconds this weekend showed much grit and determination to battle against a strong Jed-Forest side on their home turf.

Jed-Forest went in to half time leading 12-5, with Wandies try coming from Ali Murray placing down in the corner after a lofted pass out to the wing. The main difference between to the sides at the break was the scrummaging, with Jed-Forest seeming to have more weight behind them and a pitch that easily tore up under foot.

The second half saw more pressure from Jed-Forest resulting in a few mistakes from Wandies and tries to Jed-Forest. Tom Lawman managed to score a second try near the posts for Wandies, which was converted by Calum Gauld.

It was a hard match for the 2s but there was no questioning the effort and passion from the players, with plenty of positives to take forward on to next weekend (1st Oct) at home to Kelso A.
