A former Murrayfield Wanderers star, Heather O'Brien has been turning out in the green of Ireland. Heather was a key figure for Murrayfield Wanderers, along with sister Sarah, whilst studying in Edinburgh. Heather won her 1st cap for Ireland in their win against Italy and then played in their narrow defeat to France.

We hope Heather keeps her place for the Irish trip over to play the Scots in a few weeks where she could be facing current Wandies players.

Wanderers Beth Dickens, Ruth Slaven, Lisa Martin & Katy Green have been in action for Scotland against France and Wales, both resulting in defeats for the Scots.

Sorry Heather but here's hoping the girls in blue spoil your return to Scotland!!!
