Our Walking Rugby section is 5 years old this year. It started as a relief for coming out of the covid period; instigated by Brian Sloan (in his role as the head of Age Scotland. Under 10 of us came down to find out if this new form of rugby would work.

This week, we had about 25 down to our regular session, followed by a party in the clubrooms. It was great to see some of the original participants re-appear, such as Jock Anderson, Bill Fell. Our current squad of players is mostly made up of people who were not previously involved in the club.

We meet every Friday at 2.45pm in Roseburn Park, with refreshments to follow. All are welcome to try, any age, any sex, any ability.
