The club is shocked to learn of the sudden passing of a long time member, George Gourley.
George joined Murrayfield RFC initially, following his move to Edinburgh from Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.
His son Colin played youth rugby for the Club before moving to Jed Thistle.
George took a grest interest in the club, an ever-present. He has served on the committee as Social Convenor and has enthusiastically arranged raffles on a weekly basis over many years.

Our condolences to daughter Julie, sons Kevin and Colin and their families at this difficult time.

The funeral date/arrngements are here.
