Until further notice, MWFC will not be training or playing any games at all age groups and sexes.

Our clubrooms are shut, for club events and external hirings.
Let's all stay safe, and in touch via social media.

The SRU issued the following statement on Fri 13 March:
In light of government restrictions on public gatherings and the resulting pressure on emergency services and healthcare provision, Scottish Rugby has decided that with effect from Sunday 15 March at 6pm there will be a short period without domestic competition (or training) whilst a further assessment can be made. This will be in effect up to, and including, 29 March 2020.
This will impact rugby in all domestic league and cup fixtures, training, festivals and other rugby events as well as the FOSROC Super6 tournament, which come under Scottish Rugby's jurisdiction. During this suspension period Scottish Rugby will undertake further assessment and advise on any further action that may be required.

Murrayfield Wanderers continues to liaise with the SRU who are working extremely closely with the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland in monitoring the Coronavirus situation. We are taking guidance from Government on the status of hosting events, and people travelling to them. Should you wish to view this advice, please do so yourself, using both of the following links:

Please familiarise yourself with the latest information and advice given in the above noted links, especially as it may change on a daily basis, and that it is a rapidly developing situation. Should there be any further updates from us, further to this notice, please be assured that we will send them on as appropriate.
